Seems that disabling Missing e has restored normalcy to my Tumblr Dash, where before it was freezing and crashing the tab. I assume this is a Tumblr problem, not a Missing e problem.
And by normalcy, I don’t just mean that I can now access Tumblr without the damn site crashing, but that my Dash is now back to the state it was in before I installed Missing e. Hadn’t realised quite how many features I’d come to rely on aren’t actually Tumblr’s.
It’s amazing how one guy could make this site infinitely more usable.
So, this morning my Tumblr Dash constantly freezes and then crashes. Disabling MissingE prevents this. Looks like the end of my being able to use MissingE.
Why are all my posts now HTML enabled, and why the fuck can’t I turn it off?

Welcome!
My Endless Scroll ran out. You owe me a whole night’s posts.

Oh man did I uncheck that box as fast as possible… Thanks for the heads up, Caitlin.
Downright sheisty move, Tumblr. I love you guys but shit like that should always be opt-in, industry wide. Always.
Yes and yes! If this wasn’t an option when you first signed up for an account (and it wasn’t when I did) then don’t set it as checked by default. Also, thanks to Mere for bringing it to my attention in the first place.
Yes, thank you. I may be trying for a new job over here, Tumblr. Jesus. I don’t want them to know I curse, blaspheme and post pictures of kittens.
That’s so Facebook. Please stop.
I thought this was pretty shifty myself, and unchecked it right away. Just more
tumblrfacebook shenanigans.
